Flying With Disability
Working together with the airline - Part 2 |
|
Stay in touch with your airline or tour operator. By keeping an open dialogue, they will be able to accommodate all your travel needs. We strongly recommend that you contact the airline you are flying with at least 48hrs prior to flying - the earlier the better. In short, plan ahead.
For general information on more or less every major airline currently flying in the world today, we cannot over emphasize how useful everybody.co.uk is as a general resource. Click on the below link and then the 'airline' option on the top navigation bar.
Providing contact details for all airlines, this impressively comprehensive site outlines those on board facilities for the disabled travellers, be it wheelchair access or oxygen supplies.
Message from the editor: When we first set up Flying With Disability, we planned to incorporate a similar information service as everybody.co.uk.
We were, however, so impressed by the comprehensive nature of the site, that we have abstained from providing this information, and instead are simply happy to direct any disabled travellers intending to fly directly to this fantastic resource which cannot be bettered.
